Afamilial, oh my god. I'm aroace and... I may be afamilial too. I never subscribed to or even understood those ideals. I just tied it to my being autistic, and maybe it is, but it's still comforting to hear someone else that feels similarly.
I applaud this. Well written, well said. I'm not quite that far down the aspec path (I'm aroaceapl), but this thing drew a line straight through me and made me think in ways I haven't lately.
I'm glad my thoughts could have an impact :]
